Papyrus News focuses on the intersection of information and communication technologies and language and literacy development, education, culture, equity, and diversity. Contributors are faculty and graduate students in the Digital Learning Lab of the University of California, Irvine.
First launched by Mark Warschauer as an email list in 1999 and then as an intermittent blog in 2004, Papyrus News was re-launched in October 2008 as a collective site for news and commentary.
