I completely desagree. A real global, transcultural language, makes a native center who listens from everyone and forwards the global mix to the other cultures. But as you can see in the blogosphere or bookshops’ bookshelves, the english speaking world broadcasts only about itself. It doesnt communicates the world, only take it as audience.
Even worse: it confuses Africa with ex-British Africa (allafrica.com), Asia with India, etc… world with itself.
